Luciana’s Ristorante Celebrates 40th Year Anniversary
As Luciana’s Ristorante in Dana Point celebrates its 40th anniversary, the Italian restaurant will participate in OC Restaurant Week for the first time. The popular week of dining returns March 3 – 9 with Luciana’s offering a three-course prix fixe dinner menu.
Luciana’s menu begins with an antipasti course of a Crostini Flight (Italian bread toasted with three different toppings), and continues with an entrée selection of either Ossobuco di Maiale (braised pork served on a bed of creamy polenta), Pollo alla Cacciatore (chicken braised and baked with a medley of peppers, onions, and Italian herbs), or Linguine Luciana (linguine, manila clams, mussels, shrimp, sea scallops, and calamari in a zesty pomodoro sauce.)
Dinner isn’t complete without dolce, or a dessert course, of Tiramisu (lady fingers dipped in espresso and layered with mascarpone cheese, marsala, rum, and dusted with cocoa.)
Luciana’s three-course OC Restaurant Week menu is $50 per person (excluding tax and gratuity), and the regular menu of timeless Italian cuisine will also be offered. Recommendations from Luciana’s extensive wine list, honored with a 2023 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, will also be available.
Second-generation restaurateur Jorge Luhan II runs Luciana’s after his mother founded her namesake restaurant in 1983. Located in a former historic home reminiscent of a Tuscan Inn, the restaurant is known for its warm atmosphere, classic Italian cuisine, and award-winning wine list that features 350 wines from more than 10 countries. The menu focuses on flavorful dishes – including house-made ravioli – and features the finest ingredients, many of which are imported from Italy.
Luciana’s is located at 24312 Del Prado Ave., off E. Pacific Coast Hwy. in Dana Point’s Lantern District. Reservations can be made at lucianas.com or (949) 661-6500
